Market Intelligence for Small Business
Free Market Research for Businesses in a Tough Economy
Are you or someone you know struggling in this tough economy? Thinking of opening a business or expanding your current one and have questions about your potential customers?
Let the expert staff at the Center for Economic Development do your market research for you, free of charge.
In an effort to aid local economies around the north state, the Center for Economic Development, at California State University, Chico, as part of its “Market Intelligence for Small Business Program,” will be giving away a minimum of $125 worth of free market research or trade area mapping to any small business or prospective small business owner in California. There is absolutely no commitment from the client for further paid work.
The CED can perform market/trade area mapping, and has access to local economic and demographic reports, business lists and competitor information, consumer counts, and much more. A business can use trade area mapping and economic reports to see where it is in relation to its current customers, potential customers, and competitors. Market mapping can also be used to estimate in how large of an area a business needs to market to achieve a certain revenue level, or see the likelihood of a specific location meeting a revenue goal.
