California Agricultural Export (CalAgX) Executive Series 
At the BMU at California State University, Chico (May 17th and 24th) 
 

California Agricultural Export (CalAgX) Executive Series will help you not only take your product to a global market, but will also save you time and money in the process! The CalAgX is the most comprehensive executive export training program available to the California Specialty Crop industry it benefits the producers, processors, exporters and marketers of California grown products.

The California Agricultural Export (CalAgX) Executive Series will be broken down into 6 sessions of varying topics. Sessions 1 - 4 will take place on May 17th for the Chico CalAgX Executive Series from 9am until 4pm. The remaining 2 sessions with additional instruction on Export Assistance Programs for California food will take place on May 24th for the Chico CalAgX Executive Series from 9am until 3pm. Both days and each CalAgX Executive Series include a one hour lunch break and breaks between sessions.

Training Program Preferences:

  • Must be a California based business and have been in business for at least 1 year (Employer Identification Number required).
  • Products grown and produced in California.
  • Have a qualified specialty crop product as defined by USDA that can be exported.
  • Includes processed food products that are made up of 50% or more of a CA specialty crop.

Target for Butte County:

  • Dairy
  • Cattle
  • Hay
  • Nursery
  • Strawberry plants
  • Specialty Producers
